Income requirement for a family residence permit
The family member in Türkiye (the sponsor) must show that they can support their family. The total monthly income must not be less than the minimum wage, and must not be less than one third of the minimum wage for each family member. The sponsor is also included in the number of people.
| Number of people | Net minimum wage basis | Gross minimum wage basis |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 3 people | 28.075,50 TL | 33.030 TL |
| 4 people | 37.434 TL | 44.040 TL |
| 5 people | 46.792,50 TL | 55.050 TL |
| 6 people | 56.151 TL | 66.060 TL |
The law does not state clearly whether the net or gross amount applies; to be on the safe side, we recommend planning your income based on the gross amount.
Other requirements
